Morgan County Leadership Academy (MCLA) is a non-profit organization governed by an independent Board of Directors who live and/or work in Morgan County, Indiana. Funded through tuition and sponsorships, 100% of the funds go toward programs for class members and the organization's operations.

How Your Generosity Makes An Impact

The MCLA program has evolved significantly over the past 30 years, yet two constants remain: the leadership team's unwavering energy to provide a high level of education and mentoring, and the vital support from the community to ensure the program's viability. This support can take many forms, including monetary donations or sponsorships such as those from Morgan County Leadership Academy sponsorships, in-kind donations, or volunteer services. Thanks to this generous support, over 400 individuals have graduated from MCLA!


Our ultimate goal is to help others become well-rounded servant leaders throughout Morgan County. When businesses and organizations choose to invest in leadership training, they begin to develop future leaders equipped with crucial skills, including risk management. Employees who receive leadership training become more adept at managing risks and making strategic decisions, making them a valuable asset for any organization.


Throughout the MCLA program, participants work on developing their personal missions and enhancing their leadership skills. They expand their understanding of themselves and others, team dynamics, and community issues. In a rural county like ours, collaboration can often be challenging. However, our graduates leave the program with the knowledge and passion to build consensus and tackle the problems facing our communities.

Future Course

Leadership training typically emphasizes the importance of ongoing skills development. MCLA is currently developing next level programming for those who have already completed the current program.


Your sponsorship will help us get this class in place much more quickly.

Sponsorship Levels

Legacy Sponsor $5,000 and up

By choosing to support the Morgan County Leadership Academy sponsorship, you will receive (2) spots in the current class year, (8) graduation tickets, and unlimited vocal, digital, and printed recognition throughout the year. This is a great way to donate to MCLA and support community leadership.

CEO Sponsor $1,500 (3 annually)

By choosing to support community leadership through a Morgan County Leadership Academy sponsorship, your generous donation will provide you with (1) spot in the current class year, (2) a graduation ticket, and banner recognition.

Portfolio Sponsor $1000 (1 annually)

At the Opening Retreat, each class member receives a zippered portfolio designed to secure materials and notes throughout the program's duration. By choosing to donate to MCLA, you will help purchase these portfolios, and in recognition of your contribution, your logo will be displayed alongside the MCLA logo. This is a wonderful opportunity to support community leadership through your Morgan County Leadership Academy sponsorship.

Lunch Sponsor $500 (9 annually)

By choosing to sponsor a session lunch, you will play a vital role in supporting community leadership through the Morgan County Leadership Academy sponsorship. Your generosity will be recognized in the newsletter sent to class members and on the session's agenda. Additionally, you may opt to appear and speak to the class during lunch, further encouraging others to donate to MCLA.

Friends of MCLA

Often, individuals or organizations may find it challenging to afford tuition, yet they would greatly benefit from the Morgan County Leadership Academy program. When you choose to donate to MCLA, your contribution will help fund future scholarships and support community leadership, with updates provided annually.
